Top Latino Owned Companies – AVMAC places on Index 500
AVMAC is proud to announce that we have once again been recognized on the Latino Leaders Index 500, an annual list of the 500 largest Latino-owned businesses in the United States by revenue. The index highlights companies that are making a significant economic impact and showcases the influence and success of Latino entrepreneurs across industries nationwide.
This recognition marks AVMAC’s second consecutive year being included on the list. While AVMAC has been recognized with many awards over the years, being featured on this list highlights the expanding role Latino owned businesses play in shaping the U.S economy. Latino entrepreneurs continue to fuel innovation, create jobs, and contribute to economic growth in communities throughout the country.
The Latino Leaders Index 500 is produced each year in partnership with BMO Financial Group and serves as a benchmark for the largest and most influential Latino owned businesses in the United States. The 500 companies, collectively generated more than $149 billion in combined revenue in 2024, reflecting the scale and success of Latino led enterprises across various sectors such as engineering, construction, food and beverage, and technology.
AVMAC CEO and Founder Roberto Ortiz, who shares a Puerto Rican background, reflected on the company’s recognition, noting that being included on the Latino Leaders Magazine Index 500 for a second consecutive year represents more than financial success, it reflects the company’s mission and purpose. “Being named to Latino Leaders Magazine’s Index 500 for the second year in a row is an honor that reflects far more than revenue—it reflects purpose. At AVMAC, we exist to keep America’s aircraft and ships mission-ready, and to do it with integrity, precision, and an unwavering commitment to the men and women who serve. This recognition belongs to our entire team—especially the veterans and military families whose experience, discipline, and pride power our performance every day. As a Latino-owned company, we’re proud to represent what’s possible when opportunity meets hard work: building careers, strengthening communities, and delivering mission-focused solutions that help protect our nation. Thank you to Latino Leaders for highlighting the growing impact of Latino entrepreneurs, and congratulations to every company recognized. We’re energized to keep raising the standard—through innovation, service, and results.” Other companies listed in the 2026 index include MasTec, Carvana, and TelevisaUnivision.
