Maritime Administration (MARAD)

O&A Technical Services, a Joint Venture comprised of Orion Strategic Solutions LLC and AVMAC LLC, is currently the Prime awardee for the U.S. Department of Transportation Maritime Administration (MARAD). Our current record of work includes:

Providing logistics overhaul and upgrade on Ready Reserve Fleet vessels
Providing configuration management including planned configuration changes and NSE financial and maintenance reports for completed configuration changes
Providing material management and spare parts procurement support services including procurement research, logistics support and engineering analysis of marine equipment and systems to identify equipment and material necessary to support MARAD vessels for a period of 180 days at sea
Providing shipping, receiving and inventory management services at three MARAD warehouse locations, Cheatham Annex, Alameda, and New Orleans
