AVMAC accepted a $10,000 Economic Development Incentive Program (EDIP) grant awarded from City of Chesapeake council and the ED authority/department on December 12th, 2013. City of Chesapeake recognizes AVMAC as a corporate citizen and thanked us for our support of the city. As part of the commitment to AVMAC’s success in the city, Chesapeake provided a contribution to AVMAC from its Investment Grant Program. AVMAC, as part of its commitment has agreed to employ five persons and invest $500,000 in the company within 36 months of occupancy, thereby generating local taxes of approximately $14,592. Acceptance was made at the Economic Development board meeting.
