Executive Staff – Larry King

LARRY KING

Director of East Coast Operations

Larry King is our Director of East Coast Operations at AVMAC LLC and also serves as the Facility Security Officer. Larry is a 30-year Marine veteran and former naval aviator with extensive experience in aircraft maintenance with U.S. Marine Corps squadrons as well as on various operational staffs.

Stationed at MCAS New River, he served as HMM-365 Airframes Division Officer, HMM-261 Quality Assurance Officer, Assistant Aircraft Maintenance Officer, Director of Safety, Standardization and NATOPS, HMT-204 Aircraft Maintenance Officer and Executive Officer, and MAG-42 Det B Commanding Officer in Norfolk, VA. He also served in the United Kingdom with Royal Navy Commando Squadron 846 as an exchange pilot, flight commander and maintenance test pilot.

Larry served with II Marine Expeditionary Force as the Second Marines Regimental Air Officer and as the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit Air Officer. He served at the Joint Warfighting Center (J7), USJFCOM as Chief, Joint Exercise Branch in Training and Exercises Division and as Fleet Marine Officer for Commander, Amphibious Group -- Two.

His last assignment on active duty was as the Director, Joint Concept & Experimentation Division, Marine Corps Warfighting Lab, serving as the Marine Corps Combat Development Command's liaison to USJFCOM.

Larry attended USMC Amphibious Warfare School, USMC Command and Staff College, U.S. Naval War College Top Level School, and Armed Forces Staff College (JPME-II). He holds a Master's of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston University and a Master's Degree in National Security Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.

In his spare time, Larry is Adjunct Faculty, USMC College of Distance Education and Training.
