Director of Ship Integration
Shannon Diggs joined AVMAC in 2017 as an HM&E Foreman and was recently advanced to Director of Ship Integration. In this capacity, he oversees the operations and management of AVMAC’s shipboard division in the execution of maintenance and modernization, surface ship maintenance and fleet technical and engineering support nationwide. Through his leadership and management prowess, the work the shipboard division supports has been accomplished with first time quality. He graduated from the Newport News Apprentice school in 2004 and has over 18 years of experience installing, leading and managing AITs involving the installation of HM&E systems and direct experience overseeing various installs on DDG, CG, LPD, LHD and CVN Class ships, verification and testing of completed work, and providing additional SOVT support. Shannon’s goal at AVMAC is to grow the Ship Integration division as a one-stop shop for all ship repair work.
